The Beginning
To quote the Squarespace filler text for Blog posts “It all begins with an idea”.
Tiki Tour Motorcycle Rentals started (yes, from an idea) but more so, from an enthusiasm to sling our leg over a motorcycle and go experience the world. Also, if I’m being completely honest, this business is an excuse to collect more interesting motorcycles and have my significant other be okay with it...
So, as of January 2024, we’ve got our Rental Service Licence sorted✅ (to keep the New Zealand government happy), we’ve got our website sorted✅, we’ve just joined the Rental Vehicle Association of New Zealand✅ (because they offer awesome support), and we’ve released our first Instagram post into the wild✅(see below, Like, Follow, Share, etc).
Our bikes are looking sharp, and are ready to take on New Zealand’s roads. So all we need is you now! Send us an email, text, WhatsApp or carrier pigeon; no obligation to order/reserve anything we’d just love to hear from you.
Because we’re in the early stages of building our fleet (thanks again, to my significant other!) we are constantly buying new gear and are planning on the best way to expand our range of bikes, so let us know what you’d like to see and we might be able to sort it out for your NZ visit.
