Winter - a chance for improvements
Our first (half season) of motorbike rentals has gone off with a bang. We’re grateful for everyone who has chosen to rent one of our bikes so far this year and for those who have upcoming bookings.
During winter, we’re taking the opportunity to improve some of our bikes and rental offerings based on the feedback we’ve been receiving from our customers on how we could make our rentals even better.
On the list of improvements our customers might get to experience:
We have earplugs and balaclavas available to purchase when you pick up your bike.
We’re investigating phone mounting options so that people can see where they’re going in and around town (on the open road, there aren’t many options, making it harder to get lost in rural NZ).
Our road bikes have been fitted with Oxford heated grips, while our adventure/off-road style bikes are getting fitted with hand guards.
We’re investigating helmet communication options for those riding 2-up, in a group or who just like listening to music while they ride.
We’re putting together some camping packages for those who want to experience the raw New Zealand.
Other things we’re working on (in the background) include:
Building an inventory of spare parts, so that there is no delay if a bike comes back with a bent lever.
Improving our web presence, so that it’s easier for our customers to find us.
We aim to make the rental experience better for you, so we’re grateful that our customers have taken the time to give us feedback at the end of their rentals.
If there is something you would like to include in your rental that you can’t find on our website, feel free to contact us.
Cheers,
Rhys
